Reagan M is a hometown girl who was born and raised in the New River Valley. She left the area for a short period to attend school at Ferrum College. After graduating in 2007 with a major in Biology and minor in Environmental Science, she moved back to Christiansburg and started working at Virginia Tech’s Large Animal Hospital as an ICU technician. She started working with us at Companion Animal Clinic in the fall of 2009. When she is not working she spends her free time building her lifelong passion of running a horse rescue, unlike any other! Reagan owns Winterfrost Farm and sister rescue program, RIDE-A-RESCUE. The RIDE-A-RESCUE program is designed to provide trail rides using horses Reagan has nurtured back to health. This program is a great community activity that is fun and helpful at the same time. Not only do you get to enjoy a trail ride, the horse you are assigned is given a future and a job. Reagan also provides riding lessons, stable leases, and training, as part of the rescue program.
